Fully UK / EU car law compliant, the vCam™ HD is a "dash
cam" (DVR car camera); a video recorder that continually records
your journey / the road ahead. As the video gets old, new the video
overwrites it. If you have or witness an accident, you have a video
record of the event for the police / your insurers.
PLease note 2: There are other dash cams on the market that use
the same casing as vCam™ HD but they are not as high specification
and / or UK legal (for example, all other examples we have seen,
the forward facing night vision lights can not be swotched off -
in the UK, it is unlawful to drive with them on). We use the highest
possible quality 5MP lens, the very best printed circuit board,
etc. Our cameras are protected by British / International Patent
PCT/GB2011/051503 and our name "vCam" is Trademark protected
within the EU.
* vCam™ starts recording providing your cigar light socket
become live / activated when you start the vehicle, and stops recording
when the power goes off; it does record for a few seconds after
power loss in case the power was interrupted by accident / an accident.

vCam's video can be uploaded onto a PC and / or replayed on its
own LCD screen and / or via a HDMI link to your HD TV.
vCam offers several video recording qualities, according to your
needs / wishes, including Full HD.

vCam has a very wide angle, 5 MegaPixel CMOS lens for high quality

driving regulations, for example, you can turn the forward night
lights off (it is not lawful to drive with lights on in the windscreen

after a few seconds while you are driving (only navigational screens
such as on Sat Navs are lawfully visible to the driver).
vCam with a Class 6 or 10 32Gb mini-SD card (not provided) will
